PUPPY PENS
If you’ve recently introduced a puppy or puppies to the family, you’ll be aware of how difficult it can be to keep an eye on them at all times. They're often full of energy, and them being so small means they can easily get caught in any nook and cranny. That's why a quality pet playpen can be so helpful for getting that peace of mind that so many dog owners don't just want, but need when their small animal is so curious. Our free delivery means that these are as nice for your wallet as they are for your pet, too.
A quality puppy playpen from us doesn't just keep your dog safe, but also provides them with enough space to keep them comfortable. All that room means that you can also leave them with plenty of dog bowls or even dog toys, so they're still having fun while being kept in one place. Our foldable range can be used at home, in the garden or even away from the home - meaning they serve a similar function to kennels and dog crates, but are more mobile. The models with bases also mean that you can put your dog on almost any surface, knowing full well that they'll be protected in that dog pen from things like sharp rocks.
Ideal for use during dog training, our range of puppy pens come in a variety of sizes and designs to suit any of your requirements. We have metal puppy pens, we have fabric puppy pens; we have more permanent solutions, and we have travel-friendly options. Whether you need help with whelping or are just looking for a dog playpen for your little one, we have you covered.

PUPPY PEN FAQ
How are playpens different to kennels?
How are playpens different to kennels?
While they are ultimately similar in that they can keep your dog safe and separate for amounts of time, each are better in different circumstances. The main difference is that playpens don't tend to have a roof, and therefore don't provide the warmth and waterproof protection that a kennel would. On the other hand, a kennel generally wouldn't be as large as a dog pen, so there's less space for the dog to run around and in this case they generally act as a great exercise pen. Another downside would be that, despite the fact that a roof would protect the animal from rain, it also limits visibility.
This means that if you're inside and want to keep an eye on how your dog is doing, then if they were in a pen you'd be easily able to see what the dog was up to. However, the hutch-like nature of dog kennels would mean that a wall or roof would likely obscure the view. Again, both have their benefits and it just depends on what you're looking for.
How long can a puppy stay in a playpen?
How long can a puppy stay in a playpen?
We would recommend you avoid leaving a puppy in a playpen for more than three hours. For periods longer than three hours, we would recommend getting them a dog kennel, or at least leaving dog beds and toys in there so they don't get bored. While they would be perfectly safe in there after the three hour mark, if they grow too bored then it may start feeling like punishment to be put in there - which puppy pens should never feel like. This is why it's important to start dogs in playpens early on so they get used to them.

While every puppy pen we sell is made with quality material, there are some that are specifically made with strength in mind. Our heavy duty galvanised pens are an affordable option that is also self-assembled, so it's easy to pack and set up whenever necessary. These are also suitable for placing on gravel, grass or patios meaning they are safe and adaptable. The large size also means you have space for dog beds, dog bowls, dog toys and treats; whatever your dog needs to make them happy.
Would these hold other animals, too?
Would these hold other animals, too?
Our playpens generally have bars, so you'd have to be cautious with any animals that may fit through them. There's no way a dog would be able to, but if you plan on putting a guinea pig, gerbil or other small pets in there than they may be able to squeeze through the bars. Obviously, these are made for dogs, so put other animals in at your own risk.
